Your file is read on this device — it is never uploaded to us. Before any text is sent for AI processing, NorskBuddy checks it here in your browser for things like names, fødselsnummer, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and replaces them with placeholders. This check uses pattern rules, not AI, so it may not identify every piece of personal information — you always see and can edit the protected text first. Nothing is stored unless you choose to save the result, and saved results stay on this device.
